Staffordshire based artist and illustrator, Hazel, Specialises in detailed pencil drawings in both traditional and digital formats. Her work focuses on the beauty of everyday subjects in the natural world, with a keen eye for observation. Having always had a fascination with details, her work elevates observational studies to celebrate the commonplace.
The resulting pieces exude a minimalist expression, evoking a sense of calm and inviting the viewer to appreciate the quiet beauty that often goes unnoticed. The interplay of light and reflection in her artworks also creates a dynamic and ever-changing experience.

From a young age Hazel could be found contemplating quietly and expressing creatively. The earliest memory recounted by her grandmother, Hazel, drawing perfect circles at the tender age of 3.
While her creative interests expanded over time—especially during her studies in Fashion, for which she earned a degree—drawing and design always remained her true passion.
For a number of years it became no more that a hobby, however in 2023 having decided to reconnect with her creative side, she now solely balances focus between commissions and her own range of fine art prints, all of which can be viewed in her Portfolio.
Still and always experimenting, Hazel is also working on a series of Original Fine Art pieces, exploring which different forms suit best as she discovers the artistic voice that speaks most authentically to her.
